BEIJING: Advisor to chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Senator, Dr. Shahzad Waseem has said that political parties are representative of people and are responsible for bringing change in life of common people. Ideology, organization and empowerment of workers at grassroots level are core principles of PTI as a result of which it emerged as most popular party in the country.

He expressed these views while speaking at seminar for South Asia political parties held in Beijing at secretariat of Communist Party of China (CPC).

Dr. Shahzad Waseem stressed on the need of enhancing interaction between political parties of different countries so that they can share their experiences and learn from each other’s best practices and experiences.

The PTI leader also had interaction with senior leaders of CPC. Later he was awarded with certificate from CPC on his outstanding contribution in seminar.
