Islamabad:(8-01-2021) Leader of the House Senator Dr Shahzad Waseem while addressing Senate of Pakistan has said that unprecedented crackdown was carried out by those, who introduced Dalai camps and established FSF and wrote the black chapter of Model Town shootings

Leader of the House Dr Shahzad Waseem referred to Lahore’s Model Town incident and alleged that the opposition was involved in cracking down on political workers when it was in government.

“We don’t want to suppress any democratic movement,” he said, adding that there were red lights as well.

He said when PDM would talk against the state and state institutions, it would be taken to task.
Leader of the House Dr. Shahzad Waseem said to criticize the government and agitate was the opposition’s right but there were certain red lines with regard to the state and its institutions, which needed to be respected, as these transgressions might weaken the state.

He said an unprecedented crackdown was carried out by those, who introduced Dalai camps and established FSF and wrote the black chapter of Model Town shootings when even women were shot in their face and old people were dragged on roads and beaten black and blue.
