Pakistan-Egypt bind together in historical, political, economic ties: Leader of the House Senator Shahzad Waseem

Leader of the House in Senate, Senator Dr. Shahzad Waseem has said that Pakistan and Egypt are bind together in historical, political and economic relations. He said the two countries have exemplary bilateral cooperation which should be enhanced further in the wake of the changing global scenario.
This was stated by him while talking to Ambassador of Egypt to Pakistan, Tarek Mohamed Hussein Dahroug who called on him here on Monday.
During the meeting, issues of mutual interests including bilateral cooperation, institutional communication and regional matters came under discussion.
Senator Dr. Shahzad Waseem said that bilateral historical, political and economic ties between the two countries would be strengthened further in the days to come.
He was of the view that Pakistan and Egypt have always cooperated and supported each other especially in critically times and this mutual cooperation will continue in future also.
The Leader of House in Senate said that though global coronavirus crisis created an uncertain situation but under the competent leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the strategies of the incumbent government helped a lot to overcome the pandemic.
He said that measures taken of the incumbent government to deal with coronavirus and their positive outcomes were admitted and widely admired at global level.
Sen. Dr. Shahzad Waseem said that construction and other related industries of the country have been rehabilitated and an increase in exports was witnessed. Pakistan has become best country for foreign investment, he added.
Expressing his concerns over the new wave of Islamophobia, he said that it has created threats for peaceful coexistence. Stultifying other religions and beliefs is condemnable and it creates religious abhorrence and division, he maintained.eg
