ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Senator Dr. Shahzad Waseem has been nominated as member of Board of Governors National Defence University (NDU) Islamabad.

Dr Shahzad Waseem was among the pioneer members of first National Security Workshop held under the auspious of NDU. He has also led the NSW delegation to brotherly country, Turkey.

The PTI leader has been actively involved in various events and activities including seminars, conferences, and other academic programs held by NDU from time to time.

His nomination endorses his leadership ability, vision and commitment to serve on a responsible position in an esteemed institution.

Dr Shahzad Waseem while welcoming his appointment has vowed to fulfill the responsibilities with the best of his abilities.
